From One Meal to a Movement: The Journey of 4 His Kingdom
4 His Kingdom began as King’s Mission International, a ministry born from a simple yet profound calling: to feed and minister to children in the Philippines. Before meeting my wife, I felt led to start feeding kids, recognizing that physical nourishment often opens the door to spiritual transformation. But God had bigger plans.
One day, I sensed a strong calling to return to the Philippines and fully dedicate myself to the ministry. With faith as my guide, I sold everything I owned in America and poured my savings into funding the work. King’s Mission International was established, and we began partnering with churches, collaborating with pastors to host feeding programs for children in different areas.
Over time, we realized that the ministry was not meant to be confined within church walls. The need was far greater in the streets, in communities where children had never set foot inside a church. This revelation led us to expand into mobile ministry—going beyond church partnerships and directly into neighborhoods. We traveled to different areas, securing permission from local authorities to set up a month-long outreach. During this time, we not only fed the children but also built relationships, discipled them, and—once trust was established—ministered to their parents. Before moving on to the next area, we provided families with resources, including a list of Bible-teaching churches and trusted pastors, ensuring they had a place to continue their faith journey.
The ministry was sustained through the generosity of King’s Mission’s Facebook followers, family, and friends. However, when funds ran low, I made the difficult decision to return to work in America to support the ministry while my wife continued leading it in the Philippines.
After four years of being away, I brought my wife to America, and for the next three years, our direct ministry efforts in the Philippines paused. Yet, even during this time, our passion for serving never faded. Whenever a church or individual in the Philippines reached out for help with a feeding program, we supported them as much as we could. Meanwhile, in the U.S., we remained active in our local church—serving in feeding programs, homeless outreach, and other ministries. Our hearts never left the mission field; we were simply in a different season of service.
Now, we are returning to the Philippines to continue the work God has entrusted to us. This is not a new beginning, but a renewed season of serving—a continuation of the calling God placed in our hearts years ago. Through 4 His Kingdom, we remain dedicated to building God’s Kingdom—one child, one family, one community at a time.
All for His Glory! All 4 His Kingdom!
